The pool, the formats, the rules, the schedule—and what the whole thing is built to reward.
Bitbase runs a trading competition once a year. The last entry set out what BWTC is; this edition happens to fall in a football year. Here is the rest of it—the pool, the formats, the rules, and the schedule. Before the details, one thing about the competition's character: it rewards judgment, not luck. Read the rules closely and they all answer the same question—who is this built to reward.
The pool: earned, not handed out
The pool is not a fixed sum set aside in advance. BWTC 2026 has a promotion pool of up to 1,000,000 USDT, but its final size depends on how many eligible participants the competition draws: the more people take part and trade, the more of the pool unlocks, to a ceiling of 1,000,000. The prize is built collectively by the people competing, not paid out by the platform.
It unlocks in tiers. As eligible participants pass each threshold (1,000 / 5,000 / 10,000 / 30,000 / 50,000 / 100,000), the corresponding pool unlocks (10,000 / 50,000 / 100,000 / 300,000 / 500,000 / 1,000,000 USDT). The pool is split between the two formats in fixed proportions: Futures Team Pro takes an 80% Promotion Share, Trophy Picks 20%.

The awards: scale, and efficiency
Volume is not the sole yardstick. The 80% allotted to Futures Team Pro is set across three boards.
Top Team Volume Award: up to $400,000, shared by the top 20 teams by volume.
Top Team ROI Award: up to $300,000, shared by the top 20 teams by ROI.
Top Captain Award: up to $100,000, shared by the top 20 captains by qualified participants.
The three boards weigh different things: scale, efficiency, and leadership. The ROI board is the telling one—it rewards not the largest positions but the most disciplined use of capital, the steady hand over the heavy one. Trophy Picks, the remaining 20%, applies the same idea to individuals: the Top Individual Volume Award carries up to $200,000, shared by the top 50 individuals by volume. Each award pool scales with the total; the figures above are the maximums at the full pool.

The threshold: be genuinely in the game first
There is a bar to clear. Once the competition opens, users whose futures account equity stays above $100 for at least five minutes may sign up; to qualify for rewards, a participant must then reach the required cumulative futures (Perpetual Futures) trading volume over the course of the competition. Those who fall short still appear in the final rankings but are not eligible for rewards—the standings record who actually traded. The specific volume thresholds are set out on the official Bitbase event page.
There are two formats, and you choose one: Futures Team Pro, where you compete as a squad and standing is collective; and Trophy Picks, where you compete individually and standing is your own.
Early Bird and Scout: for the early, and for those who bring others in
Two further rewards address two kinds of participant. Early Bird Perks ($4,000) reward signing up early: register within the early window (June 22, 10:00 to June 25, 09:59, UTC+8) to receive 20 USDT trial credit. The Top Scout Award ($1,000) rewards bringing newcomers in—and they must be genuine users: new users have to register, sign up, and deposit, and the top 10 scouts share this pool. Neither sits inside the 1,000,000 USDT main pool; both are counted separately.
Fair play: the floor the competition stands on
A contest of judgment has to be clean first. Rankings update every ten minutes and may be subject to data delays; market makers may not take part, and partners may not join the Scout program; wash trading, self-trading, fake volume, mass account creation, multi-account coordination, and falsified KYC all lead, once identified, to disqualification and the forfeiture and clawback of any rewards. The final list of eligible participants and all calculations rest with the platform's review.
Rewards are paid within 14 days of the competition's close; Scout referral rewards within 3 days of qualifying; physical rewards likewise within 14 days, so submit shipping details in time.

Time sensitivity: The rules, prize pool, awards, schedule, and participation methods described here reflect information as of the publication date. The promotion pool scales with participation and parameters may be adjusted; the real-time display on the Bitbase official website and event page is authoritative. Where this article differs from the latest official display, the official display governs.
Verification: For key parameters such as pool size, eligibility thresholds, volume calculation, and payout timing, verify on the official Bitbase event page or Help Center before taking part.
Not financial advice: This is an informational overview of an event only. It does not constitute investment, trading, tax, or financial advice. Crypto assets are highly volatile; trading and holding them carry substantial risk, including the loss of principal. Taking part in the competition does not change this.
At your own risk: Whether and how to trade is your decision; assess your own risk tolerance.
